But then the light catches you by surprise. After an hour of nothing, taking the camera off its tripod and packing up the gear you turn around and you see this... no time for careful adjustments and composition - the light creates the image for you. Snap.

ReplyDeleteBrian, these images are wonderful. I understand too well your comment about photographic inertia. I have been in a photographic coma since last Sept. Haven't even taken the camera out of the bag. Not sure what is going on or why but seeing these beautiful images you have taken of the local landscape is inspiring and I need as much of that as I can get right now, lol. I have been feeling incredibly bored with the local landscape so thanks for reminding me that there really are beautiful scenes and photographic opportunities right here in our own backyard.
